Class: Engine Development 2 (GDD478-L)
Instructor: Matt Norris
Engine Development 2 was mainly about detecting and reacting to collisions. It was a great refresher in math for 3D primitives. The course instructor made the topic as easy as possible; the lecture material was amazing. I found some of the labs to push my comfort level, but that’s what they are designed to do. We started a two month project in ED1, however i changed my project for ED2. This month i wrote a 3D software renderer (Like OpenGL, just not efficient). The project was awesome, it definitely helped me with 3D math. Overall the class was good, and the labs where challenging.
