Class: Game Networking (DIG3628)
Instructor: Darryl Malcomb
Every month i’m more and more impressed at how much information Full Sail is able to present in such a short time. This month is no exception. I went into the Game Networking class having no idea about networked communications at all; one month later i can build a networked game without much hassle. The class covered BSD sockets and WinSock. Darryl’s lecture material was so self explanatory that the lectures where barely needed, great job Darryl! The labs where interesting. During labs we have built a server-client chat application and two multiplayer games as lab assignments. The amount of information this class presented in a month is very impressive!
